Testimonials
I never thought I would get excited about seeing what was in my weekly training sessions or what can be achieved in an hour's quality training session. I have gone from being a novice triathlete to completing an Ironman in a few short years, all under Neil's guidance and encouragement. I have seen an increase in my fitness, endurance and resilience which has carried into other areas of my life. I am more proud of this than any race results. I am proud to say that at 60 I am fitter and stronger than I have ever been in my life and the journey has brought me so much joy as well as making many new friends along the way. When you join DNA you do not just get expert tailored individual coaching. You join a community of like-minded athletes, all of various abilities, who encourage and support each other to reach their goals.

My goals are not about times but about presenting the best version of myself at the start line of any race and enjoying the journey to get to each respective start line. Neil gets the best out of each person he coaches. His infectious enthusiasm, encouragement and monitoring ensure we all reach our goals.
His training plans fit around my lifestyle, ensuring there is plenty of time for work and play! Everyone can benefit from personalised coaching, whether you are a beginner who wants to complete a race or someone who wants to improve their times. Neil will deliver a plan to meet your needs. I can't commend DNA highly enough. It is an investment in yourself and about reaching your potential.

Neil agreed to coach me in August 2022. At that time I had a few triathlons and running events under my belt. I had been working off my own plan, doing S&C, running sessions, swimming and biking myself but not seeing any improvements. Since I've been working with Neil, I have seen massive and sustained improvements in my fitness, and performance at various different events. Neil works with me to structure realistic achievable plans that suit my lifestyle and planned events and goals. Some of the achievements he has guided me through over the last couple of years are a sub 25 minute 5km, sub 2 hour half marathon, Malin to Mizen cycle and completing a 70.3 triathlon and my first Ironman at Copenhagen in 2025.
